EFAW Essay Competition 2025

Educational Foundation for African Women (EFAW) invites first-year female undergraduate students to participate in the 2025 Essay Competition. This year’s title is:
“The African Girl child in the Digital Space: Education and Societal Considerations.”

We’re looking for fresh ideas and thoughtful perspectives. Every voice is welcome.

• Eligibility: Open to all female first-year undergraduate students enrolled at any university in Africa
• Essay length: 800 – 1,000 words
• Language: English
• Deadline: 30 November 2025

Prize:

The winner will receive $100, books, and have their name published on our website.

All shortlisted entries will receive a certificate of recognition.
