Our work

EFAW helps girls and women in Africa to live better lives by giving them the support they need to reach their full potential. We offer scholarships and run programmes on literacy and vocational training. Through our enlightenment campaigns and events, EFAW hep to raise awareness of women’s rights.

Scholarship Scheme

EFAW Scholarship scheme (EFAWS) offers scholarships primarily to female students in secondary education and also to indigent students in general. We also, sponsor skills acquisition programmes and offer bursaries.

Advocacy

EFAW advances the welfare and wellbeing of the girl child and women in Africa through outreach events such as enlightenment and public awareness campaigns. We support causes that champion the rights of women and girls

Research

EFAW conducts periodic research, data gathering and analysis with the aim of gaining insights into the situation of the African girl and woman and to inform its programmes and policy recommendations
